The Audio and QOL Update!!


Hi again everyone! First of all, I just want to say that I've never had this many people playing my game and leaving so much valuable feedback and I'd like to thank EVERYONE for playing the game and for being so kind and friendly during this jam! I added a bunch of sfx like many have been requesting! 

Here's some patch notes if anyone cares just cause I liked writing it all out:

  • Added a pause menu
  • Added restart and quit buttons to the ending screen
  • Added a health bar
  • Added death sounds to enemies
  • Added a trail to the player while dashing
  • Added a sound for dashing
  • Added a 0.5s cooldown to the dash
  • Added sfx to axe swings
  • Added sfx for throwing the axe (Boomerang Sound Effect by floraphonic from Pixabay)
  • Added sfx to the Revolver (Sound Effect by freesound_community from Pixabay)
  • Added sfx to "The Most Painful Gun" (Lego gun) (Sound Effect by freesound_community from Pixabay)
  • Added sfx to Deathly Gun (Bats - Sound Effect by freesound_community from Pixabay)
  • Fixed the "Restart" button making time stop and the player being unable to move
  • Fixed the axe dissapearing before it returns after being thrown
  • Fixed the intended animation for the charged axe not playing
  • Fixed a bug where upgrading to "The Most Painful Gun" (Lego gun) while the bats are being spawned from the Deathly Revolver caused the gun to still spawn bats
  • Made studs despawn in 10s rather than 8s
  • Enemies can no longer destroy studs upon stepping on them
  • Reduced health from 10 to 5
  • Lowered revenant health by 33%

Hope I can pump out at least one more content update after this, I still have some weapon ideas I'd like to make a reality! It might take a while tho (with school and me submitting for another game jam soon and all), so  just know that I'm still going strong, and if you've read this far, I appreciate you!
