Mori's Ascent

You are Mori. One of many, willing to risk their lives as a challenge, but you also need to aquire the wish of The Great Mountain of The Forgotten Ones. You know of the tale of the mountain, in which one hero rises up, makes a wish and frees the souls trapped within the mountain as eternal punishment for their greed, but you do not seek retribution for the people stuck in it at first...

Look around and find unique weaponry to send the revenants lookin for a new host back to where they belong!

Controls:

• WASD to move
• LMB to shoot (hold to charge the axe)
• R to reload (some weapons have more than 1 reload anim ;))
• Space to dash (for some reason I added this)
• 1 and 2 to switch weapons

PS: This is just a teensy tiny demo baby game so it might be a bit unstable.

A short little game made for Untitled Game Jam's 6th Birthday Bash

My second ever submission to a game jam, I think it turned out pretty well, considering I wanted to do pixel art for the first time and got completely entranced in doodling in Aseprite, I learned a bunch of new stuff while making it and I want to do more with this idea for the game world someday. At first I wanted to make a rouge-like (Enter The Gungeon style hehe), but then I realized it was gonna be too big to realize within the time given and thank GOD I did, cause I barely finished it as is.
