The Portfolio Jam Update!!!!


Hello everyone!!! I'm so glad I got to (more or less) finish this update! I didn't know what I was going to do for the this jam, so I just continued working on this, since it was an option.

As always, here are some patch notes:

  • Added the "Bus Stop" axe variant (and the upgrade orb for it)
  • Added cutscenes for picking up a weapon
  • Made the WebGL build's UI scale with screen size, so it shows the UI without fullscreen
  • Adjusted the hitbox of the axe to be able to hit enemies directly in front of the player
  • Lowered the damage of the axe swing to encourage players to look for better weapons

And now unfortunately, I'll have to slow down a little with updates on this game (don't worry, I still plan for a map overhaul and one more weapon, it's just gonna take longer) as I venture into unknown territory once again: The Isekai Horror Jam!! I've never made any kind of horror game, so this'll be very new and interesting. I hope some of you guys can find the time to check out what I and other people will be making there, but either way, you've all helped me realize my passion and for that I will be eternally grateful.
